Evergreen Pacific Financial Services Beware of this company! mistreated and ripped off tricked and lied to Fairbanks Alaska

First off, I am posting this in hopes that it will help somebody else in the future.

Stand clear of this company if you are looking for a mortgage or re-fi.

I applied for a re-fi loan with Evergreen and was, at first, happy with them. Until..

1) We are approved for a loan and then the day before we were supposed to close we were suddenly NOT approved!

2) We made countless phone calls to Linda which went unanswered.

3) Linda finally called us back and said we were approved again and the same terms of the loan applied. We went to close are loan and the terms of the loan we changed and the loan was not even a legal loan in the state of Alaska. It had pre-payment penalties and was overall a very bad loan (very high interest). She totally led to us flat out.

We refused to sign the loan documents and were later handed a letter to appear in court for some $1800 (not an exact ammount)in "fees" that Evergreen said were due to them.

I spoke with a lawyer in Fairbanks who knew exactly who I was talkingabout when I called. He said "just tell your story in court and you'll be ok".

I ended up settling with them out of court for 1/2 of the appraisal fee because I didn't want the hassle anymore. (This letter is watered down, it was much more painful than I've stated in here) I believe this whole ordeal took about 3 or 4 months to clear up to give you an idea of what to expect from this company.

I wish I would have seen this site before I made the mistake of dealing with Linda and Evergreen. I have since re-financed the proprty involved in this fiasco and have also purchased another home as well. Both financed with Wells Fargo and very pleased with thier service.

In short...stay away from Evergreen!
