Everquote.com, Ever Quote sold my information to WAY too many insurance brokers. I have never had to block so many numbers due to repetitive calls to my cell phone. do not give them your information

Everquote has a fake "news" article out in the media saying they are one of the fastest growing startups and its all because they save people money on insurance. Naturally, as an entreprenuer myself, I was intrigued by a successful startup. I read the article and i thought to myself, 'hm, I can save money on my insurance'. I filled out the form and within minutes my phone was being blown up by insurance brokers from multiple states trying to sell me insurance.

The phone calls did not stop coming. I was getting 10-12 phone calls per day, if I was in a meeting and had to ignore them, they would call me back right away instead of leaving a message. I felt like I was getting harrassed, and started blocking the numbers. Then I started getting phone calls from the same area code within minutes after blocking the number and they would just call and hang up. It has been over a month and I am still getting calls daily. I keep blocking numbers but I keep getting calls. 

I will NEVER ever use EVERQUOTE and I will tell all my friends not to if they ever bring it up. They just generate leads and sell them off. 

I'm ready to change my phone number because of Everquote, it has been an absolutely horrible experience.
