EvictedCalifornia.com Advance fee scam with continued lies to get additional money CA

I am a business owner that ran into some problems and had my accounts frozen. this caused my rent to not be paid and for my landlord to evict me. I new my accounts were about to be unblocked and needed a few extra days to pay the landlord. I went online and found a company Evictedcalifornia that said they could easily buy me 2-4 months in the my place.

As I only need a week or less this seemed like a good way to go. I called them and made a deal with the guy to send him $200 via Zelle. This was a Thursday night when I paid him and my notice to vacate the premises was Monday 6 am so time was of the essence. On Friday I was expecting him to go to court and file whatever was needed as we agreeed on and as per his website and contract I signed said he would.

At around 12pm he texted me and said the judge refused the motion and I needed to pay $225 by 3pm or the judge would have sheriff come and lock me out Mon AM. I told him repeatedly I had no money at all to which he just kept replying "get it done" or "then you will be locked out" the pleasant demeaner from the day before was now of course gone.

He then started ignoring all my calls and texts and once in a while would just text something like "did you pay it yet?" I was able to borrow it from a friend and before I sent it I asked him flat out will this get me the time I need to which he replied yes. I never heard from him again nearly all weekend. I blew up his phone and he would not reply.

Sunday night he emailed me with some form to take to court Monday. This of course was too late as notice to vacate was Mon 6am and courts dont even open till 8am. Also he was supposed to take it to court as per his own contract which I have that anyone can see if they want. Monday morning came and I went to court.

They wanted $225 to file his paperwork which of course I didnt have as he had taken it and kept it. I have already reported him to Zelle and to my Google Ad Words rep i deal with. Companies like this (if you can even call his site a company as it looks like a 10 year old built it) should be stopped as they are taking money from people already down on their luck.

Hes probably used to dealing with people with no money so they have no recourse against him however this time he decided to rip off the wrong person. I will make sure his site is closed down so he cant take anyone elses money.
