I pre-ordered an item from their website for $32 that had an ETA sometime in June / July (They changed the ETA every time the months passed). The order went through and they sent me a confirmation email saying that the order couldn't be canceled and the item would be shipped as soon as it was in stock. Then they canceled my order and jacked up the price to $320. I complained and they offered me only 50% off the jacked up $320 price. Having promised someone that I would buy it for them, I reluctantly paid the difference. Months have passed and even though I paid well more than the original $32 price, the item never came back in stock and they refuse to offer the 50% discount on another item that is in stock. This company doesn't appear to have most of its inventory in stock, they have mostly pre-order items. I would not pre-order anything from them, and I would advise others to avoid ordering their pre-order items.

AUTHOR: Evike Public Relations - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 02, 2011

My name is Clifford Tjing, Head of Public Relations at Evike.com

The report which we are here about today, I'm sure cannot be proven by the customer writing this report. We are hereby requesting a order number with email correspondence proof of this case and it's turnout as stated here.

Evike.com will never increase a price of an item by 1000% as this is unjustifiable by any company. We would also never offer 50% off as our retail outlet already strives to have the lowest prices in the entire industry. 50% would be impossible and no staff is authorized to do so.

Our company, Evike.com, is the largest airsoft retail front and online shopping center in the United States and bringing items factor direct to decrease consumer cost is one of our #1 priorities. Due to the fact that many items are brought from overseas, sometimes we have no control of the items wait time due to customs and shipping inconveniences. We always offer the customer 100% refund if the item has not yet shipped.

This statement is guaranteed to be exaggerated as we can show proof with the customer's order number every step that was taken to insure the customer's satisfaction.
