MANUFACTURER OF PRODUCT

1 GIGABYTE GA-M55plus-S3G Socket AM2/GeForce 6100/DDR2/A&V&L/ATX Motherboard MB-M55PS3G,

Which should have been version 3, which contains the 6500 built in video, not the 6100. Their web site was not specific enough for anyone to be able to figure this out on their own. With my luck, they have changed it since my purchase, to cover their tails.

The board was dead upon arrival. They expect me to pay to ship them back a dead motherboard that they sold me. This is a sham. I am demanding they pay the shipping costs, and refund me in full.

THERE ARE THREE VERSIONS OF THIS MOTHERBOARD (I AM AN A+ COMPUTER TECHNICIAN). I CALLED EWIZ BEFORE I EVEN ORDERED THE BOARD, AND THEY 'THOUGHT' THAT THE VERSION IN QUESTION HAD THE 6500 (VERSION 3) ONBOARD GRAPHICS CARD (WHICH IS ALOT BETTER THAN THE 6100 MODEL = VERSION 1 & 2). SO I BUY WHAT I THINK IS VERSION 3 (THEIR WEBSITE DID NOT PROPERLY EXPLAIN ALL THE NEEDED SPECIFICS TO TELL 100% IF THIS WAS VERSION 3, SO I WENT BY WHAT THE POORLY ENGLISH SPEAKING FORIEGNER THAT I SPOKE WITH REPRESENTING EWIZ SAID. EWIZ SENT ME THE WRONG BOARD, AND TRIED TO COVER THEIR TAIL BY SAYING IT IS BASICALLY A CRAP SHOOT WHEN YOU ORDER A MOTHERBOARD FROM THEM AS FAR AS WHAT VERSION YOU WILL GET. THEY EXPECT ME TO PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO THEM, WHICH IS B.S.

Dear Customer,

Most places do not guarantee specific revisions for the simple reason that revisions are so frequent in this industry that etailers are not notified whenever a new revision comes out. However in the event that our advertised specs are incorrect, we will be more than happy to refund in full and pay for the return shipping.

After a through review of our website, we have concluded that the product was correctly advertised due to the following reasons.

1. The product specs listed the videocard as a GeForce 6100 at the time of purchase.

2. Your invoice listed the product as "GIGABYTE GA-M55plus-S3G Socket AM2/GeForce 6100/DDR2/A&V&L/ATX Motherboard".

3. Your confirmation email for the order also shows "GIGABYTE GA-M55plus-S3G Socket AM2/GeForce 6100/DDR2/A&V&L/ATX Motherboard"

Despite not showing the revision, you can plainly see on the web description, invoice, AND your confirmation email that the video card included was a GeForce6100. So the fact that you got a 6100 really should'nt come as a surprise given those 3 things.

In the future, it would be helpful to throughly review the product description and invoice before submitting the order to make sure you get the product you want instead of blindly submitting an order and calling us crooks when the item was not what you expected. It will save everyone alot more time in the long run.
