I had purchased a cast stone fountain from Exalted Foutains (exaltedfountains.com) on 6/10/2014 for $3006.00. I was told verbally and from their emails that the fountains were cast stone and that I would receive the items within 4 weeks. I had picked the color of the item based on exaltedfountains.com website.
I had sent numerous emails and telephone calls to Mr Jeremy Luna after the 4 weeks for which Mr Luna had stated that the items had already shipped. This was patently untrue. The items were not shipped for over 3 months after the initial purchase.
Upon arrival the delivery agent would not wait for the 2000 pound crates to be hand opened for inspection. Upon inspection the materials were damaged, fractured and non-usable. The items were in fact not cast stone but CONCRETE painted to appear cast stone. The color of the items were not as described on the website. Jeremy and Exalted fountains patently lied about shipping times, materials for the product and color.
I had contacted Mr Jeremy Luna over 40 times to be told that an alternative arrangement would be sought to correct the problem. Mr Luna did not return my calls or emails and the items were not as described and were damaged.
I had contacted Giannini fountains who would not return the calls nor would they accomodate the damaged items.
In investing in such a large purchase I would highly not recommend either companies as it will be a big waste of money, time and energy. I had wasted most of the summer on false delivery promises and paid a large amount of money for a non-usable item.
Exalted Fountains and Giannini Garden Ornaments are fraudulent and non representative of the items, do not stand behind their products, misclaim the materials used and do not help rectify any problems. I would recommend steering clear from these two companies.

Here are the delivery instructions for this item. It appears that they were not followed in this case and as a result we were not able to refund or replace the damaged item:
Tracking Information
Upon Delivery
Important! - Shipment MUST be inspected upon arrival. Damaged pallets and/or items must be refused in order to process damage claims.
- If there are any damages, write “Damaged” on the Delivery Receipt and REFUSE the shipment for replacement.
- Once the shipment is signed off free and clear our shipping insurance becomes null and void, so be sure to inspect your shipment carefully.
- If the driver is not cooperative or will not wait for inspection, please write “Driver Would Not Wait - Pending Inspection - Possible Concealed Damage” on the delivery ticket and give to the driver. (Do not refuse the shipment).

Quality & Delivery Problems

I'm sorry to hear about the problems with this order. These are large and heavy items which typically need to be installed by a contractor or landscape professional. Installation and delivery needs to be arranged beforehand with someone who has experience and equipment in accepting and inspecting freight deliveries and moving heavy objects. We do all we can to explain the delivery procedures during a purchase and after shipping an item, however we cannot enforce that they are carried out to the letter on the receivers end. The requirements for damage claims and insurance on products in this price range are strict. Any deviation from the instructions and neither our company or the customer are protected in the event of damages. I know these products can last for many years if they are installed and cared for properly.
We mail color samples free of charge on every garden fountain order of the type under review. This is because we know computer monitors and exact coloring or hand mixed stains vary. The color or colors are mailed out and the customer needs to confirm acceptance of the chosen color before it is applied, or they can waive the review and go with a chosen color when ordering, but we still send that color sample out just to be sure.
These completely handmade products vary in the time it takes to complete them and they are not at all like mass produced items which are finished on a tight schedule. Rather, they are more similar to a scuplture or work of art being created.
The American Concrete Institute's glossary, Cement and Concrete Terminology (ACI 116R-85) defines cast stone as concrete or mortar cast in special molds so as to resemble natural building stone. These products are not true sculpted natural stone, but rather cast stone which is made to look like true natural stone.
