THE TRUTH ABOUT EXCEL PERFORMANCE DBA: MENS EDGE MEDICAL CENTER OF DALLAS (aka: MEM)

MEM is headquartered at 5550 LBJ  Frwy, #360, Dallas, TX 75240.  Tel: 972-996-0900, fax: 972-996-0905, Website: (www.mensedgemedical.com).  They have recently opened offices in Las Vegas (6380 W Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89103 Phone: (702) 331-7077) and Kansas City (5401 College Blvd Suite 203, Leawood, KS 66211 Phone: (913) 553-4616),
and are likely looking to expand to other cities with the help of gullible investors. 

The truth is that there is wide-spread public knowledge of fraud, deception and harm to humans that is wrong, illegal and unnecessary, and that it is a moral and legal obligation to do what is required to expose the improprieties in the interest of public safety.  The following are opinions and are based on documented facts, experience, and observations. The State of Texas symbiotic relationship appears to rely with protecting perpetrators of this kind in the interest of fees, taxes, and phony jobs programs.  Therefore, it would not be prudent to expect the government or other such dependent parties to voluntarily protect you or any other individual, who could be someone very near and dear to you, without your personal voice and active intervention.   

MEM presents a rampant morale and moral hazard from the top down.  This gang is willingly and intentionally violating public policy, endangering public safety and probably disregarding the law and certainly common decency.  MEMs known operational standards have been what one might expect to see in a bowling alley in a Juarez barrio or an ethnic frat house, but never in a North Dallas retail clinic, masquerading as a medical office.  Of all the policies that employees are required to acknowledge, they are only to protect the owners financial interest against standard business risk at the expense of the employee.  There are none about protecting customer or public safety.  Customers have been hurt after collapsing while without supervision, and a few have gone to the hospital due to excessive bleeding and head trauma.  One reason for this is that the whole gang is frequently goofing off, laughing and having a good time rather than paying attention to customers under the influence.

Yet, MEM adopted a company policy forbidding employees from calling an ambulance.  MEMs official stated policy is to not call 911 but for an employee to take injured customers to the hospital in an employee car, another hazard in itself, in the case of an event requiring urgent and immediate emergency care. 

MEM is owned by Charlotte Burns, a licensed and practicing physician, in a completely different area, (charlotte.burns@att.net).  She also has a J.D., which makes her less than customer friendly, and is reason enough to use MEM's competition: [(BostonMedical Group, a well-established national leader in erectile dysfunction and pre-mature ejaculation which most closely operates like a professional medical practice according to expected and acceptable American standards and which does not currently have a complaint history with the local BBB:  6380 LBJ Fwy., Dallas, TX 75240, 888-590-8082, http://www.bostonmedicalgroup.com) OR  Dallas Male Medical Clinic, http://www.nationalmalemedicalclinics.com/dallas, 4125 Fairway Drive Suite 190, Carrollton, TX 75010), which is known for doing the initial testing for free (something you will are not likely to see at MEM),  if you think you need to play with this fire.                     

MEMs  office manager is Raul Garza, a highly trusted member of the gang, who helps to develop and implement what he and others refers to as MEMs secrets to success (what most rightfully refer to as deception and fraud) to sell to future franchisees and
who has the values which Burns obviously regards as critical to the success of her business. Beware investors!  Garza is known to make frequent unprofessional and Anti-American comments referencing the Alamo that help explain the subject of this report.  The following is one comment that he frequently states to customers of a certain ethnic group: I am your new crack dealer (he must see his job as similar in that many have to be deceived into trying the product at tremendous personal risk in order to find the few that will use it). 
Some of the many other areas of obvious concern include, but are not limited to:

 At MEM, there is a flagrant disregard for the law, violations of public policy and the endangerment of public safety. There is serious pattern of deception & fraud against the public, employees, vendors, investors, regulators and each other.  It is as if everyone is
a potential victim for this gang.

 The rapidity with which treatments (ha-ha, they are not treating anything) change with time and experience such as resulting injuries and other negative side effects. It is easy for one to conclude that this is one big dangerous human experiment.

MEM frequently represents that they have treated 10,000 customers. 6000 never existed and never will. Out of the other 4000, 50% did not buy anything and never will. Out of the remaining 2000, 90% never come back and never will, even to get their pre-paid formulas that MEM refers to as medication.  Could they all be wrong?

MEM is engaged in false advertising and deceptive business practices, verifiable at the BBB's
site: (http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/health-and-medical-general/mens-edge-medical-center-in-dallas-tx-90115064).  They want everyone to falsely believe that their sex lives or marriages will be improved with their products and services.  Their ignorant marketing approach resembles that of cigarette manufacturers, and like cigarettes will likely exacerbate erectile dysfunction.  If ones sexual partner finds out they spent $2000+ on this service that they are likely not to use, those problems are likely to be exacerbated too!

MEM uses false testimonials. The owner is known to have requested false testimonials, which were concocted and which MEM used.  Most recently, they have been known to use  a testimonial implying that they are treating high blood pressure. 

MEM is not known to ethically treat HBP.  During the first year-and-a-half that Garza was manager, and Burns was owner, MEM'S BBB rating dropped from a C to an F (http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/health-and-medical-general/mens-edge-medical-center-in-dallas-tx-90115064).  "Medical quackery and the promotions of nostrums (a medicine prepared or prescribed by an unqualified person whose claims for its effectiveness have no scientific basis) and worthless drugs were among the most prominent abuses which led
to the establishment of formal self-regulation in business and, in turn, to the creation of the NBBB." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Better_Business_Bureau).  Could it be that MEMs customers are being used as unwitting guinea pigs from which there is an attempt to establish scientific evidence.

MEM is using uncertified, unlicensed and unqualified employees to mix medications, draw blood and give injections without a doctor present, and in some cases, a doctors knowledge. Even worse, this company is relying on the same gang to train and tell doctors how and when to do what.

MEM is illegally promoting HCG as an FDA approved product for weight loss. When people call in from the deceptive ads and ask what the cure for erectile dysfunction is, they are told that MEM has all of the FDA approved solutions and the customer needs a medical exam to find out the appropriate solution for them. The reality is that every one of them will qualify for injections and will not be told as the doctor steps into the room, with the assistant who is hiding the injector while the customer is being told to lie back and rest his head on the pillow. If the customer is not pro-active at that point, he is going to get the injection.

For well over 2-3 years, when the above referenced call-ins ask about the price, they have been told that the regular price for the initial exam is $299, but MEM is running a limited-time special for $99. The risks of MEMs product and services are being under-stated and the benefits are being over-stated. The customers are not being properly informed about the risks. Many have resulting pain and discomfort, sometimes resulting in additional painful procedures or sometimes injury requiring hospitalization. After the test dose, a sales person,
dressed in scrubs comes in and tells customers that the doctor wants them to use the medication 2x/ week, which is patently false. Then the transaction is completed as quickly as possible before the customer realizes the full effect. There is virtually no one who is willing to
inject their p***s 2x per week for more than a week. If they did, their p***s would likely turn into solid scar-tissue which would almost
certainly result in even more severe problems.  Think about needle tracks of regular intravenous drug users. Most customers that buy 10-100 injections take the first ten to home-test and never come back for the remaining pre-paid product, if any.  Since the informed consent form completed by customers at the beginning of their first visit has a clause that all sales are final, it is made difficult to get a
refund.  The sales receipt also claims that it is against federal law to provide refunds on sales. I doubt if there is such a law or that would apply to alleged medications that have not been mixed or other products that have not been taken into the customers possession, such as vacuum pumps for p***s enlargement. If customers seek a refund on the injections they have been routinely and falsely told that their formulas have already been custom mixed.

Another thing that the salesman will tell the customers is that men lose testosterone and that the doctor (usually false) wants them to get a blood test, currently $250. The customer is most often not told about the cost of treatments of $100-200 per month. Nor, are they told about the $250 test every 8 weeks to determine if they are part of the group that turns this testosterone into estrogen which results in other needed medications that run $300+ per month. What next? As far as I know the human experimenters have not figured that out yet.

After making sales, certain reps, the manager and the owner are known to run up and down the halls giving each other high-fives and knuckle crunches.  This is something one would expect to see in sports locker-rooms, not in a health clinic helping people with a
product that customers find useful or need.  If MEMs product is so helpful and desirable, why does MEM have to spend so much on false advertising and use deceptive business practices to deceive people into buying it?  The answer is quite obvious.

MEM has not been known to have written standards for or usage of basic standard  hygiene practices. At one time the people
that mix formulas and fill syringes, which legally should be done by a certified pharmacy tech, but in reality is done by just about anybody, were using sterile pads to clean the bottle tops, before dropping the sterile pad onto the heavy-traffic counters. But, that step was lost by the person who illegally promotes himself as a pharmacy tech (PT) (he is another member in the highly-trusted inner gang that the owner relies upon for her success), a process adopted by everyone else up the chain of command. If, and when, the sterile pads were used as above, it would then be passed off to the person assisting the doctor, who then hands it to the doctor, who then parades down the hall (where the gang, and frequently Garzas entire family wrestles, eats, sneezes and wheezes) and is eventually used to cleanse the customers p***s for the injection. The same PT want-to-be referred to above once dropped a sterile pad on the floor and suggested that it was useable to complete the above process. That same person has been seen throwing product on the well-used counter, with disregard for where it lands, prior to packaging it for customers use. The reason, he gets mad because the
customers do not buy enough or that he had to package the product instead of dozing or dazing into space in front of the computer.  Let us not forget to contemplate his and others opening of pill bottles with their teeth or the routine failure to proactively engage in routine hand sanitization.

MEM is hiding behind the trust & dignity which we place in our doctors, the white coat doctrine.
MEM is representing itself to be in the cosmetic business in order to extend credit to customers through Care Credit.  MEMs
cosmetic sales are almost non-existent. It is also doubtful if Garza, MEMs unlicensed master practitioner of all trades, is unlicensed to perform that service as well as others.

 MEM has been known to frequently leave the customer sign-in sheet on the counter for everyone to see for days-on-end. 
MEM makes copies of customers credit cards, when used for a transaction, and places it in the file with a copy of the license and other personal information.  Medical facilities are known to be a substantial source for information leading to identity theft.

MEM personnel have been known to falsify medical and sales records for a variety of personal reasons, such as commissions or they want to go to lunch. They also make frequent exceptions to what they consistently claim are absolute legal requirements, such as waiving annual medical updates to make bonusat the last minute or to get bribes by customers In every fault, there are too many
cracks to count. This gang is deceiving everyone, including state agencies without peril. I do not know about the rest of humanity, but I find this to be disgusting. We can lead the third-world up or they can drag us down.  If this represents the standards of what you
want from American licensed medical providers, not to suggest that MEM is practicing medicine, then find and tell your federal & state
representatives, newspapers, TV stations, and BBB's.  If you want better, tell the same people, but more importantly warn your family, friends, and neighbors.   Unfortunately, this is not a subject that users openly discuss, which allows the evil doers among us to prey on the ones we care about under the shroud of confidentiality husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, uncles, and nephew.  Forward

If the MEM gang will lie, cheat and steal from employees, customers, investors, vendors, the government and each other, who will they not lie, cheat and steal from?  Be aware that some Texas policy makers and agency bureaucrats are creating and implementing
policies that perpetuate this and other perpetrators who commit chaos and mayhem on citizens everywhere.  At least one Texas
agency is known to have turned a blind eye to its rules and policies disregarding a clear act of fraud.  This action subjects risk to Texas tax payers and public safety everywhere.  Where there is smoke there is fire.  Where there is fire there are ashes!  UNACCEPTABLE!

I am willing to bet that no person with any education, of any persuasion or from any nation would accept the standards noted herein as the standards exercised by their own trusted medical practitioners.  I also doubt if they would find it acceptable that their tax- supported government agencies will protect these perpetrators, operating under medical licensure, at the expense of public safety and tax payers.
