I should have read the reviews. I signed up with Exede through a third party because we live in a rural area with no cable. They sold me the package and after I explained my needs said it was plenty of data I was getting. After service was installed I used my monthly data in 5 days. They charged me a ton of overages and when I called to cancel they charged me a lot of money. It was never explained to me the cancellation fees.
I later researched and found out they do not care about their customers they make their money off the cancellation fees. I explained to a manager that third party did not explain cancellation fees. They said because if that they would charge only half but when I got my bill they charged me for all.. over $400 to cancel. I called back and they were rude and said my account was now closed. They get your CC number to set up account and keep charging and charging in it.. Do your r search do not deal with these people!!!

Have YOU been living under a rock for the last 20 years? THAT would be the ONLY WAY you wouldnt KNOW about fees. Everyone from cable TV providers to cellphone providers have a EARLY TERMINATION FEE. When YOU signed up with a third party, YOU were given paperwork to sign. I KNOW you didnt read what YOU were signing because had YOU taken just a few mins of your time and applied yourself TO READING you would have seen for yourself that there was an ETF. YOU blew through the data alotted to you. THEY had NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT!!
That was YOU streaming and browsing. So when YOU go over your data and start getting the fees for doing so , YOU go and cancel the CONTRACT that YOU SIGNED. SO this is ALL on YOU!! YOU didnt read the CONTRACT that you signed. YOU used up all of your data. YOU cancelled the CONTRACTED SERVICES!!! HOW is this in ANY WAY a ripoff by THEM?? YOUR ignorance of what YOU AGREED TO is what has caused this!! NOT THEM RIPPING YOU OFF!! ALL of this could have been avoided had YOU READ WHAT YOU WERE SIGNING!!!!
