You cannot get your money back when you join this company. What they are doing here is probably not even legal. You are lured in with promises of making more than 100%. That is simply wrong. That is false advertising!
Yes there are no desk fees, but there are a LOT of other fees. In the end you are really joining a pyramid scheme. You pay to join, you pay to learn , you pay to go to their rallies. The rallies are like the sleaziest gathering. You end up wasting over a thousand dollars easy with this company and never making any money. Everyone I know who joined leave with $1000 or more down the hole.
AGENTS BEWARE! Any place where you have to PAY FIRST before you earn IS A SCAM!

#4 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Completely False Claim

May I ask;
Have you earned over the poverty level income from Real Estate with any company?
Did you pay for Real Estate School, Sate fees, Realtor Board fees, car insurance before you earned any money in Real Estate? These are the fees you talk about. The answer is yes.
The EXIT fee is a small part of these.
When you realized that you were not wired to be a Realtor, like 95% who thought they are, did you go back to all these entiies and ask for your money back? The answer is no.
Exit Realty International is one of the most ethical companies I have worked with. I have earned over $200K in single level residuals and would recommend this business model to anyone to have a stablized income, while working is an unstable incoem insdustry.
If dicided to invest in getting inot real estate and your not made to be a Realtor, that is not on the Real Estate school, the state, the local broiad or EXIT.
You may want to stop playing the roll of the victum and find something that is right for you.
Sincerely,
CWS

#3 General Comment
Pyramid?

Perhaps you are confusing Exit with another company. The residual money comes from the Bokers share of the commission. 100% in, 70% to the agent, 20% to the broker, 10% to corporate and then back to the sponsor. How is that a pyramid? It is the simplest formula in the world. It is a single level residual. Seriously, what are you talking about.
I own a franchise and can tell you about it first hand. Additionally, we have no less than 20 training events a month and they are all free. Additionally, Exit has the lowest franchise fees in the industry capping at $3,300. Give you a good example. do 20 million dollars in sales and earn $ 600,000 in gross commission income. At Exit you would wind up paying the maximum, $ 3,300. Now lets take Coldwell banker, that would be a whopping $ 36,000 to the company. Maybe you should get your facts straight befor bashing someone.

Everyone Have Choices, and Opinions....

I believe pyramid Schemes, means that it's Multi Level such as=> 1person brings in another, that person brings is someone, and this goes on up to 6, or 7 levels deep, and in the end the person in #1 position benefits from all, and it goes down the line. However EXIT REALTY is not like that, it does contain a single level residual platform which you introduce a potential agent into management, if he of she signs up you will receive up to 10% of the commission. but it only Single Level, and it stops there.
When you join any company, or organization, be sure you do your due diligence, because in the end, you are resposible. Just imagine you sold a home, you receive your commission check, and the owners who sold their home called you back, and said I want my home back. The Transaction arealdy closed, they had plenty of time to decide if this is what they wanted to do. Same as joining any company, cold feet doesn't mean your right, get the training, get the business, become a success story. thanks

EXIT Realty - A great place to start a career in Real Estate

I read the report. EXIT is not an MLM. There are only single-level residuals. Residuals are how an agent can earn more than 100%. The company starts agents off at a 70/30 commission split. If an agent has a gross commision production over 100K per year they go to a 90/10 split. When the agent then sponsors another agent into the company by introducing them to a broker/owner they can earn up to a 10% residual on that agents production, paid out from the company so the sponsored agent doesn't lose anything. If an agent then sponsors multiple agents and earns 10% of the production of each, up to 10K per agent per year, he or she earns over 100% based on what they would earn w/o residuals. The residuals are SINGLE-LEVEL. Agents only get money from those they directly sponsor themselves. They get nothing from the sponsorees of their sponsorees. Example: John sponsors, Bill and Bill sponsors Joe. John earns NOTHING off Joe's production and NOTHING off Bill's residualsAs far as training goes, EXIT is top notch. Most training is free to the agents. The rest is voluntary. There is NO DIRECT PRESSURE from the company to take this voluntary training, but it is advisable. This is EXIT in a nutshell. If it weren't legal, we couldn't do it and I would put EXIT's compensation up against that of any company in the world. Tis is thhe most agent-centric company I know.
