Exotic Shihtzu - Heidi Dishonest Breeder, ripoff Long Island New York

If she has nice pedigree then why has Heidi not sent them when people inquire about her dogs. She promised she'd send them. Never did. I never asked or pushed my puppies on people like she does or some people that make up lies saying they have to go on Vacation so they try to rush a sale...

I was upfont and told her Molly did not have a girl like her. All heidi had to do was decline the trade. I would of been ok with that b/c that was our original agreement. She is the that INSISTED on seeing the whole litter. Then SHE wanted the Darker boy. SHE wanted to give me pick of litter for him. SHE was the one PLAYING GAMES. I never said she had to pick one of my puppies. I left it up to her. You know I don't really know this breeder that wrote on my behalf. thank you TAMMI.

People and breeders already know how HEIDI treats others. I did not contact no one. You don't know what happened here. You are saying I got my money back. What money! There was no money exchanged here. See you don't what you talking about. I never did anything like that. I think you have your wires crossed lady.

Yes I received a lot replies for my darker male puppy. I have the replies to back it up. I had to tell people he was on hold. I don't know who you are. Why would someone have to hide behind there mothers email. Sounds fishy to me. I bet she contacted and begged you to write a reply on her behalf.

With the kind of bad reputation she has I wonder if you are ONE of her fake aliases. I am glad she does not have one of my puppies. I did not realize she had over 26 dogs too many. If they all live in her house with her what a mess. The dogs would have to live in bad living conditions.

"HELLO" But I can't see that anyone got ripped off here, all I can see is someone is upset because they had there heart set on getting one of Heidi's dogs and is mad because Heidi changed her mind, and as for the second lady that wrote in maybe you should write a report on yourself because didn't you do the same thing that Heidi
did and change your mind about a puppy, YOU GOT YOUR MONEY BACK. I am a dog breeder and I have known Heidi for 2 years now and I have seen her
pedigrees and yes they are something to brag about, and Heidi is a married woman whatever that has to do with any of this. And Heidi is not using fake names Diana is her mom, and as for references I'm sure she has plenty of them and no need to fake one I am in Arkansas and will
be a ref. for her anytime, but I have never been asked to.

Now i will write something about Heidi. I am from Germany and she get pups from me. I work great with her and she is everytime honest to me. She helps me alot without buying or selling a pup, that she do after i knew her many Month. So i cant believe what you write here. She is so nice and have beautyful Dogs with very good Pedigrees.
She refund the Deposit so what?? And Sharon she canceled after 3 Days when pups are born so where is the problem?? I dont believe that you lost sells in 3 days. Here in Germany sometimes the Buyers cancel after 7 weeks without Deposit thats the Breeders life.
Its not ok what you both do. Think about it what you write here, because i am sure you dont want that someone write something wrong about you.
oh and she dont live divorce she is married.

I don't need attention or am I jealous of you. I did have a lose of a sells on a puppy I had held for you. So it is a big deal.

No Breeders want to deal you anymore. You been trying to screw them over. You are the one that gossips about everyone and everyone knows it. I have been to your site. Your pedigrees are NOT listed.

My dogs are posing for a major Pet Catalogs. So why would I be Jealous of you. My dogs must be of a better quality since I am the one getting the phone calls to have my dogs pose for a major catalog.

Ok if you are married why tell people you are divorced. You told me that too. You don't know what is the truth anymore.

I hear Heidi has 21-30 dogs and still looking for more. Buyers beware and Sellers beware of her.

I also have had a bad experience with Heidi at Exotic Shih tzus, who also goes under the title Peek a Boo Pups.

In defense of the other breeder who wrote a report on this kennel (Sharon) I must respond that Heidi did tell me also that she was divorced and that her "ex" did her website for her only because he was inexpensive.

Also in defense of this other breeder, I will tell my story. I do not want to fight with anyone, but I do feel the responsiblity to back up the breeders who are having the same problems with the same person.

I called Heidi after being told by a friend that she was selling a puppy the color of blue that I was looking for. I wanted to inquire about it since it had only just been born. Heidi wanted 2500 for this one day old puppy because of it's color, so I was hesitant because I knew that it is hard to tell the color of a newborn puppy. I was concerned that the color might change.

She made it clear that I had to send a deposit or she would not hold the puppy, but assured me that it would be completely refundable and that I had until the puppy was 4 weeks old to decide on it (this was her suggestion, not mine) she said it was her policy. That way I could get a better idea of the color and what it would be.

I made it clear more than once that I was only interested in a blue-coated puppy, not a "cream blue". She also assured me that it had a wonderful pedigree and that she would send it to me while I was deciding. (She never sent the pedigree). She also told me to send the deposit to her mother in another state because she owed her money...she gave me three days to get it there.

In photos of the pup when it was older I noticed that it wasn't blue anymore, but turning a tan color. She kept insisting it was blue when I expressed doubts. She sent more photos. She said that she would keep it if I didn't want it. She said it had blue eyes. (I have the emails). She said it was a "cream blue", which isn't what I wanted.

I still had until the puppy was 4 weeks to wait for the color according to our agreement, but she kept refering to it as mine. At two and half weeks old, everyone I showed the photo to said the puppy did not look blue.

At three weeks old, she asked me to call her and she started asking me to send more money and wanted me to mail another $850. to her mother. She wanted to make arrangements for me to pick it up and I hadn't even committed to it yet.

Heidi also said she would lie to her vet and say that the puppy was 8 weeks old instead of 7, so that I could pick it up sooner. (In our original conversation she told me that she doesn't let her puppies go until they are 12 weeks old).

I was feeling uncomfortable at that point with all the conflicting information. I still didn't get a pedigree. Basically I felt I was being pressured into the sale before I was supposed to decide and also was not comfortable paying that much money to her mother and not her.

She also tried to sell me a bunch of her breeding poodles for $5000 that I would have had no interest in. I'd never expressed any interest in any other breed. I do not have multiple breeds, only Shih tzu. Then she told me to ask my friends if they wanted them.

I took the weekend to stop and think it all over because she would not listen to my doubts, and to get the advice of my fellow breeders. I decided that I would not get the puppy and didn't need to wait until it was 4 weeks old to decide. It obviously wasn't blue coated and I did not trust the breeder anymore at this point.

I wrote to her and politely declined on the puppy and said I would like my deposit returned. She then became upset with me and started writing me angry emails saying I'd "promised" her I'd get the puppy...and that I'd made my intent clear. She sent more photos of the pup insisting it was blue. (It was not). She said she was thinking about keeping my deposit after all because other breeders would have.

Later, she said she would PayPal the deposit to me. She did not. Later, she said she would mail it to me instead. She did not. I kept asking for my "refundable" deposit, but got different stories, even though she said she had not spent the money. She said she was selling the pup to someone (after she said she was keeping it) and that she'd pay me then, but did not.

Finally, her "husband"? (she told me she was divorced) sent me the deposit via PayPal and I was left paying all the fees. She had only given me three days to send a deposit, but took weeks to send it back.

She became insulting to me and said I didn't buy the puppy because I didn't have the money, that I had wasted her time, that cancelling a sale had hurt her, that she didn't like breeders, etc.... She sometimes would send me emails and then erase the content. She was being so abusive and argumentative (and irritating) that I finally blocked her emails.

Now she is bothering a friend of mine in Brazil who does not want to sell to her.

I would suggest getting any agreements with Heidi in writing first... even deposit arrangements. She keeps insulting breeders when she is a breeder herself. It does not make sense.

I am not wanting to talk badly about her, and I certainly don't want to fight with her anymore because I am finished with her. But felt I should share my story after she called this other breeder a liar.

Breeders should stick together and work with one another, not take advantage. I also thought it was hypocritical of Heidi to say it was OK to cancel a sale after calling me names for doing the same thing.

All i will say about this is that if you cancel a trade deal three days after they are born and you alost a sale because of me, i would be sorry and i did say that, this woman Sharon obviously needs attention so she could sell dogs off my name by slandering me. I do feel sorry for her, but rip off im not. NO money exchanged here and all i did was change my mind. My pedigree's will be pOsted soon on my site, tahnks for the free advertzing Sharon, your a great person take care.
SO IF CANCELLING A TRADE IS A RIPOFF 3 DAYS LATER OH WELL, I GUESS IM DOING BETER THAN ALL OF U, LOOK AT THE REPORTS.
