Expedia.com, good prices, even better rip-off artists. To be fair I don't believe the agents are at fault, but the company that adopts policies designed to get your money regardless of your or their mistake.
On 16 August 08 we ordered tickets to return to the states from Europe. Four days later we discovered our son's ticket was scheduled to return 4 days earlier than the rest of the family. He is not an adult yet and not comfortable traveling alone. Their mistake would have sent him to Europe alone for four days. I spoke with five different persons to include the help desk. Every person insisted there was nothing they could do. No money back, non refundable ticket, no offer of a voucher, not willing to change the dates to match the other three tickets with a combined value of $1900+. Sorry you're out of luck, but you can buy another ticket.
Well we did buy another ticket and then my mother who worked for American Airlines before 9/11 said call them, since they are the airline we are traveling. My wife had called earlier with no results. Did I say Expedia said they spoke with the airline and said they couldn't help? I called the airlines after I bought the second ticket and guess what. $15 to change the date to match our other return dates. They lied, knowingly, stole money, $662.70 and refused to offer a voucher. I will not buy tickets from Expedia again and I will discourage everyone I know from using them as well.

How come your son's ticket was booked differently then the other four and why did you book your tickets on expedia to begin with especially if your mother use to work for AA?
