I applied for credit and was denied because experian reported back to the company i was applying with tha i did not have a credit report. I have had the highest credit score for years. If this company does not have the ability to access and report accurate information then they should get out of the business.

Wrongful reporting

AUTHOR: Rosa A. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 05, 2004

I applied for a personal/credit to a phone-in consumer loan center (CLC) and after minor haggling, the aforementioned reconsidered my loan request - however, my acquiring the loan, I was advised is/was dependent on two things:
1) my retirement/proof of income which I possess, and
2) a matter which I find most disturbing: one, the First Premier Bank Card Services (FPBCS,Sioux Falls, SD) reported to one, Experian credit bureau, a Four-hundred and four-dollar ($404.00) 'delinquent' charge in my name.
I was truthful in advising the CLC that I had/have no knowledge of ever applying nor had ever had a FPB credit card, much less, charged the above amount -but advised the CLC that I would find out.

In investigating this matter, I found out that my husband, Russell A. Hatfield had, indeed, applied on-line for and had gotten a FPB credit card (Acct.#4301718001194054). He stated that he had,
as well, gotten an extra one for me. I have no recollection of ever having the card in my possession, much less charging anything on it.

The facts are: 1) I did not authorize and/or nor)applied/requested for an FPB credit card; 2) furthermore, please let the records show, as proof that I have/have never signed off on any kind of purchase(s) made on an FPB credit card; and 3) that my husband, Russell, be charged/be reported as such; and 4) that consequently, I am requesting that this be removed from my credit reports.

I am therefore, submitting this as a rebuttal and would like your assistance in settling this matter. I would greatly appreciate your kind response as soon as possible. Thank you.
