Expert Appliance took my money and ran Ripoff Winter Springs Florida

In May of this year I found a part for my oven on www.expertappliance.com.

I worry about my credit card and the internet so I filled out the mail order form along with a check for $96.oo to the address that was on the form.

A few weeks went by that I did not hear from anyone, my check had not even been cashed. I called them to inquire about my order and they said they did not have it, so I assumed the order got lost in the mail. I called my bank a week later and the check was cashed, so I waited a few days thinking I would get a confirmation letter or email but nothing ever arrived.

So I called them back, it took sometime before they could find my paperwork but they finally did and said my part would be shipped in the next 10 days or so. I said " OK, Fine".

Three week went by and still no part in the mail, so I called them back.

The young lady said that my part had been discontinued and that I would receive a refund and that it would probably take 2 weeks to get it.

Well needless to say 2 weeks went by and nothing, so I called back and talked to the same person who by the way is named Tina Lenz. She said the company was not going to issue me a refund but that I had a "Store Credit". I explained to her that I was not a an appliance repair person, that I am just an individual needing a part to repair my oven. When I asked to speak to the owner I was told that he did'nt have a phone number. The only way Tinal Lenz communicates with hime is by email, when I asked for that, she would not give it to me.

I filled out the online form for the BBB in Florida and they responded in by saying the business would not respond to them. By the way I applaud the BBB by doing things in a timely manner. I also filled out the online form for the Florida Attorney General but have not heard back from them.

Oh by the way the part that has been discontinued is still on the website as for sale.

So I guess I'll buy $100 worth of coil cleaner and lint brushes!!!
