Pharmacy benefit management/denier Express Scripts, has repeatedly denied a maintenenance drug/ anti-siezure medicine which a family member cannot do without. It is first accepted then, denied without any reason, have to call to find out what is wrong, only to find out some other information is required to fill. It goes on repeatedly, weeks go on and still no medicine. In the mean time they have the script which can't be re-issued because of nature of drug, and multiple siezures have been the result. The company has no reguard for life, other than saving money to buy another company for $29 billion, while people fight for what they need and are owed. Sounds like a film I recently saw with Matt Damon, "The Rainmaker", where all claims were denied, denied, denied until someone died!

HIV MEDS man

AUTHOR: PharmacyGuy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 17, 2012

Express Scripts don't fill HIV Meds, you have to get them through Curascript! And no we don't want any of patients to die - please stop being so dramatic like all the other patients on here.

They will put off sending HIV meds.

AUTHOR: Gregory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 17, 2012

I am HIV+ and I know for a fact they will find any excuse to put off sending HIV meds. up to lying and saying they never got your order.  Maybe the little they save putting orders off helps them, they are unethical and don't care if you die! Maybe the plan is to kill off patients they feel are too much of an expense!

We do care

AUTHOR: PharmacyGuy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 11, 2012

I'd have to say that your headline is quite false. And before I continue, please understand that we the company is going based on your PLAN guidelines. We must follow your plan's guideline in approving a Prior Authorization med, if you have a some issue, I'd suggest contacting your plan, ultimately, they are the one denying it not us. We are hired to manage the pharmacy benefits, and not make final decision on what should be covered or what not.  Your doctor office may have not provided all the information, so if they care, then they would call and provide that information.

Thanks!

PGUY
