I was employed from 12/2007 to 4/2008.
Where do I begin? I was laid off from Caremark in Dec. so me and a bunch of Caremark employees went to work for Express Scripts. First, the Shipping Supervisor is a Philippina mother of a b####. Her name is Myrrna. The first week I was there I was invited to make suggestions on how to improve production numbers. I thought since I had two years at Caremark I was perfectly qualified for this. My immediate supervisor recommended this. I wrote a paper and filled out detailed ideas and even added up what I believed what the numbers would be.
A month later, I was pulled into the Shipping supervisor's office. She took the whole proposal as an insult. She turned it around and got real personal with me. Then she used the line she uses on everyone else. "You don't like your job do you?" She took what she knew about me and used it to make me feel crappy. She told me my attitude was lousy. I spent the next four months feeling gloomy when I walked in.
The ESL supervisor - Eric - and I'm not sure his VISA status is any good, he flirts with all the women. I am married and I ignored him. I was working on an automatic packer. He told a lie to the shipping supervisor that I was tampering with the machine. Well, once again, I got pulled into the office. Now that I knew what to expect I went in and just sat through it. After that I started looking for a new job.
I put in my two weeks quit notice even though I didn't find work. The next day my badge didn't work. They said it was because I had already quit. They weren't going to let me work my two weeks.
Then at the next employer, they said when they were doing my work background, they told me that Express Scripts wouldn't verify my employment. So I had to fax all my pay stubs to the new employer. The only phone number I have for them is a fax number and they won't give me a real phone number.
Also they only promote Asian people. I don't fit the bill.
Also a buddy who worked in the warehouse said it was dangerous because they are getting medicines from the top shelf and the company has no cherry pickers. There is only a thin net to separate them from the floor and about fifty feet above the net. Sounds like an OSHA violation.

I worked for express scripts at one of their call centers in Georgia. They only promated african americans here and they treat their employees like crap. I was promised things they did not follow through. I was one of their top performers and got awards for it but they still wanted more from you. I quit in March of 2007 because I could not take working there anymore. I didnt give them a notice I called up and left a message on the supervisors answering machine because I knew they would not let me work my 2 weeks anyway.. This place sucks and would not recommend anyone to work for them.

I emailed management in Tennessee and got an 800 number so I can get my employment verified. I have also researched workplace bullying online and learned that the US is about the only country in the world without a law against workplace bullying. I will write to my congressman. I learned that workplace bullying is highest where the competition is stiffer and that the perpetrator is most likely to be female.
