Express Transmission & Complete Auto Repair Took my loan money and kept my car. Spring Texas

I had a transmission shop pick up my car 9/26/18 for repairs. Express Transmission & Complete Auto Repair, 1816 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring, TX 77388. The manager at the time said he add all the parts and asked for $2896.35. John the manager had me fill papers out electronically over the phone.

He said the turnaround is three to four days which their advertisement also says. The amount went up to $7061.28 with interest. (Nextep Funding) I blocking (Monterey Financial) from deducting from my account because I still don’t have my car. I’ve called the shop every week and get run around like they can’t find manager, the mechanics are Mexican so they left to Mexico for Christmas and he at shop alone.

Three different managers said they ordering parts and two of three claimed been fired. They don’t have money to fix car which the loan company paid them already. Owner said he didn’t know who owned the car and no one called or give me status on my car.

I asked to cancel transaction but no one can find manager. The loan people claim they can’t find owner also. I think they are working together. I’ve been getting threaten that they will mess up my credit if I don’t pay them etc. I need help.

This is a less than a week job. I had to go buy a cash car to get to work everyday. I seen reviews that others are going through this with them. The loan people got around 593.44 from me already on the loan. They said they will call me back days ago on status on getting account closed.

They never called. I want my car back but have a feeling they will charge me a lot to get my car back after I get that contract cancelled or mess up my car. I have three kids and we were struggling with one car. I was forced to get a loan for family to get another car to get to work.
