When placing my Free Trial order for Extend Pet (S&H $3.95) on Jan 19, 2010, I noticed that I must cancel the order within 14 days, or be billed for a 30 day supply every month. I thought I was receiving enough to last 14 days. Nothing was stated you have to accept "Terms and Conditions" prior to placing the order.  I received the product on Jan 24th, well inside the 14-day trial period.  However, I happened to check my online charge card account 10 days after placing the order (Jan 29) and noticed that I had been charged $149.95 for a membership fee plus a $1.49 foreign transaction fee.  I immediately filed a complaint with my credit card issuer, who put me in touch with their fraud department.  The fraud agent tried to call the contact number given to his bank for the company that had submitted the credit charge.  When he received no answer to his call I was informed that had put the company in violation of the agreement with the bank for them to do business with the bank.  That is, they were supposed to maintain a 24-hour contact number with the bank.  At my request, he immediately put a block on any future charges to my account and opened an investigation of the transaction.  On Jan 31, twelve days after my submitting my order for the product, I went back to the Extend Pet website and sent the requisite e-mail to support@supportproducts123.com to cancel any further relationship with the company.  While at their website I happened to notice that the time window for canceling the terms of the agreement had been reduced to 10 days, not the 14 days stated at the time I originally submitted my order.  I am presently in a 60-day waiting period while my bank completes their investigation.
