I placed an online order with Extended Lengths Beauty Supply on 9/24/2010. I received a confirmation email within minutes, and two days later an email indicating that my order has shipped, including a USPS tracking number. So far, so good. I waited for my shipment to arrive.


10 days later, I still hadn't received the shipment. I used the USPS Track & Confirm website to try to locate it, but the tracking status indicated that USPS was still awaiting the package. 10 days after I placed my order, my package hadn't even been handed over to USPS yet.

I tried calling Extended Lengths Beauty Supply's customer service number, only to repeatedly be put through to their voicemail. I wrote an email to customerservice@extendedlengths.com explaining my concerns, and no one responded.

I tried searching Google Maps to find a local number for their business, since they claim to be a salon in Streamwood, IL, and found no such listing.

I am out $238.55, with no reliable way of reaching anyone at Extended Lengths.

Even if these guys turn out to be legit and I end up getting my order, I would NOT do business with these folks again. Who procrastinates shipment of an order for 10 days?! And a phone number that goes nowhere but to voicemail? No thank you. SHADY OPERATION.

(And horrendous spelling and grammar on their website.)
