I sinned up on the internet for EMZ shopping. It was to be a mystery shopping job that I could earn $100.00 or more. Start up trial for 7 days was $2.95.

I understood that after 7 days I would be billed $49.95 if I did not cancel.  I started August 24,2011 at 1:28 pm. I reviewed my membership ad decided it was not all that. Also after reading some reviews I liked it even less.  So I canceled August 31. That was exactly 7 days of my  trial.

Then upon checking my bank statement I found that EMZ took 49.95 out of my account.  I thought to myself that it would be put back into my account because I canceled. I decided to give it a few days to see what would happen.

Then September 15 I received an over draft from my bank EMZ had taken another 49.95 out again.
I called the bank and got the phone number that was attached to the withdraw.  I called them.

I called EMZ and wanted to know why they took the first $49.95 when I had canceled within the time frame of the 7 day trial period.  They said that I canceled on September 1 and that was outsize of the trial time.  I asked why did they take another $49.45 the man said it was for your other membership.  I asked what other membership?  He said it was for EMZstore. I said What, what is that? I did not sign up for that. I told him I wanted that money put back into my account.  He said we do not refund.

What made all this worse was I could not even understand what he was saying his English was unauditable.  I kept telling him I do not understand you.  I asked him 3 times  to put someone else on the phone.  I was finally put through to some kind of supervisor who did not speak English any clearer than the first guy.

He said the same thing, no refund.  I told him I canceled and did not even use to service. I asked him if they were members of the Better Business Bureau.  He said no.  I said I thought so.  At this point I was mad.  I told him I am out $100 bucks and I was going to warn people about them and for him to have a nice day and I hung up on him.

Dispute the Charges

AUTHOR: VinnyZ66 - (USA)

The fee with these types of scams tends to be a monthly one.  I would dispute the charges.
