I got a call from Cory Marshall with PMR LLC because I had shown interest in working from home. After about an hour on the phone with Cory, he convinced me to pay them $295 for a merchant banking license and a website for merchant accounts and shopping. All I had to do was turn in leads and the sales people at Extreme Merchant Services would do the rest.
I had problems at first logging into the website. So I called PMR customer service and got Art Weber. He worked to get the site fixed so I could start submitting leads Asap. Finally it started working. So I submitted my first set of leads on January 26th and I waited to see what the turn around between submitting and contacting. I'm still waiting.
So I called the contact number given on Extreme Merchant Services website and guess who answered..... Art Weber. Yes, the same Art Weber from PMR. Wow, imagine my surprise!
So I told him what was going on with the leads I submitted and he assured me he would get to the bottom of it. He called me back later and said an email had been submitted to EMS. According to Art, PMR and EMS have only the lines of email as correspondence options and so the turn around for a problem and solution duo is not quick.
Needless to say, I am STILL waiting to have my leads contacted and now I'm waiting for my refund of $295. Oh, btw, if Art gives you to Carlos Ruiz as an Extreme Rep. he is not. He is with a totally differenct merchant services company and guess what else..... they don't charge to become a rep with them.
I feel so stupid for falling for this scam but at the same time, they had all the t's crossed and i's dotted. Lesson learned! I just hope I actually get my money back.
