Easy Auto Van Rental advertises that if you rent a vehicle for 14 weeks after the 14th week half of the monies paid would go towards the down payment on the vehicle that you are renting.  I rented a 2007 Hyundai Sonata which at the time was the best vehicle on the lot.  I did not switch the vehicle which is one of the things the company promotes that you can switch up to three times before entering the lease to own program.  I kept the car and made weekly payment every week for the 14 weeks.  When it was time for me to enter into the lease to own agreement I was informed that I could not purchase the vehicle because they EZ AUTO VANS did not own the vehicle so they could not lease it to me because they had not finished paying for the vehicle and did not have the title for it.  In total I spent $5,600.00 with this company and they did not want to give me my money back because they could not .  I was told by their very ryde finance manager if I did not want to continue renting the car then just turn it in and I would not be getting a refund of any sort.  I ended up taking them to small claims court.  I also never got my $100.00 deposit back from the company.
