i read an e-mail that said that for $1.95 they would send me a CD about making money at home, so i said ok for the $1.95 and now they keep charging me $39.90 a month. now i have to close my bank account and start another one. what a rip off.

Hello,
I know that situations like this can be very frustrating.
The first red flag was that you received this information by email. NEVER, EVER give out your account information, be it a debit card number or account number, over the internet. Legitimate companies will not solicit your information.
Next time, I would suggest you check Rip Off Report, or ask your bank or credit union before giving out any personal information.
I hope that a valuable lesson was learned from this.
