I used their service in 2010 to file my "free" federal tax return and pay for them to file the corresponding Massachusetts state tax return. They filed the Mass but never filed the federal and I just found this out after getting a notice from the IRS!

What this means is that I will likely owe a ton of penalty/interest to the IRS.

The ironic thing is that it was on the IRS website that I found these guys so you think they will be legit. Downright scary and outrageous.

I would never use an internet service again to file my tax return.

Was your taxes done completly online or did you go into their store. If you went into the store to file I would think that they would work with you to get things straightened out with the IRS. If you did you taxes online, you probably missed the final page where you have to click to finalize and submit.
