A young fast-talking boy came to my door one afternoon and as soon as I opened my door he barged right in. He started talking about magazines and convinced me to buy a magazine for my husband.

He filled out the form and told me it would be $55. I told him I thought that was too high and he gave me some story about how it was more than a one year subscription.

It has been over 4 months and I never received the magazine. The boy said I would also receive a call about his service, which I never received.

I Fail to See...

...how someone can just "barge right in" to YOUR house and demand things of you!

Do you not know how to say, "Would you please step outside," "Did I ask you to come in?" or better yet, "Get out of my house"? They don't even get that far at my house; a simple "No thank you" and shutting of the door works just fine!

OK, let's practice: G-E-T O-U-T O-F M-Y H-O-U-S-E. There, was that so hard?

People cannot just barge into your home and badger you to buy stuff. PUH-LEEZE! If they won't leave, just call the police. That'll teach 'em!

I had just gotten home from my honeymoon when this fast-talking kid knocked on my door and the minute I opened up, he barged in. He comvinced me to buy a magazine for my husband and filled out the form stating I owed $55. I said I thought it was high, but he claimed it was for more than one year. He said I would get a call about his service, which I never did and I have never gotten the magazine either. I can't believe there are people out there who are so unmoral that they have to steal money by sending kids to people's homes. If the person behind this was a real man (I know it has to be a man), he would actualy work for his own money.
