This woman is a piece of work!

I went to her after researching about her on the internet. Looking back, she has only 1,400 things on the net about her - mostly her promoting herself. She was on a show for 5 minutes once, and did a reading for a journalist, that's it. She claimed to be the first person to read for John Edwards (his camp says that is not true and she better shut her mouth). You would think for a person having not much press she would have just started, but she has done this for atleast 40 years... she used to be an actress (warning number two) and this psychic is a character she plays - that's it. Fahrusha is a fraud.

It's easy to cold read someone, most people come to see psychics for all the same reason. They are unhappy and lonely or need clarity. You can see by the way someone dresses a lot about their personality, also she asked for my full name waaaay before the reading over the phone - I matched her IP address to my website after the reading (and thru our exmail exchange) from my sitemeter. She was clearly trying to find the goods on me prior.

She also read my body language, I caught her a couple times.

When I got there I was surprised such a "famous" psychic who charged $150 an hour (cash in hand so she doesn't declare it with the IRS) and who claimed to be booked weeks in advance she lived in such a dump. She sat me in the middle of her home, kept answering her loud phone to talk to some guy and never told me anything at all.

When you go to a reader you need to accept they will give you good and/or bad news but what you don't accept or expect is to be told nothing at all. I imagined I was someone else in a different situation, all her answers could have been suited for almost anyone. I said nothing, not trying to play hardball but I wasn't going to give info away. She talked about a roomate I didn't have, a company I have would go green - when it's based on the internet, I mentioned a guy and she said we would marry - I was talking about my brother!

She was so vague, so drawing it out, answering things nastily like "I don't care what you do with your life..." just cold and nasty and giving the attitude you are basically stuck in her house and will be forced to pay. You could tell she wasn't a happy person and anyone who seemed to be living a good life, she somewhat resented for it.

She told me everything I wanted to hear, there was not the problem, she just said nothing at all with specifics - everything was *shrugs* or 'oh they think you are nice' 'oh someone in your family feels abandoned' 'a man who is older is thinking of you' 'you will gain money in 20 years' - this is HONESTLY the reading.

She read my palms which I told her I didn't want and only said she would answer specific questions at the end. For $150 an hour you'd expect to get a lot more.

After I paid her and I got home I discussed what happened, my friends said to ask for a refund - I did via email and of course, she never replied. She had my money, she stole it basically, she was done with me.

Then I threatened to tell the Better Business Bureau, etc. and then she responded within minutes. Changing her reading saying I was upset about things she said - when she only told me things I wanted to hear - then she threatens with curses and the like.

Stay away from her - if you want to find a great psychic do it through word of mouth and don't pay ridiculous amounts of money. Spread word for anyone in NYC looking for a psychic to avoid her. I know readers, I know cold reading, I know she looks up people's info on the internet ahead of time. A real reader will not work from home cash in hand and she/he will respond if you are not satisfied and not just take the money and run.
