"FAI skincare" charged an amount of $5.95 initially to my card for the product, followed by 5 more charges adding up to over $300. I called the company using the phone numbers posted to my bank statement to dispute the charges and at the time i only had seen two recent charges of $89 and $95. The operator offered me 6-7 different percentages off of the charges before my threats to claim the charges resulted in a 100% discount. I then scrolled further into my bank statement after the call and found 4 more UNAUTHORIZED charges on my account.  When i called back to get those charges removed i wasn't offered any refund and the operator argued with me. I explained that i would involve the police and head into my bank in the morning to claiim the charges. hung up. Why do people do this?
