Fairbanks Capital aka Equicredit ripoff fraudulent ripoff business Jacksonville Florida

When EquiCredit Corp. of America changed their name on paper to Fairbanks Capital Corp. the trouble started, there was two payment they claimed they never recieved and put us in the rears for the whole year but I have proof the money was withdrawn from my bank.

We must have been late on the December payment for we got a forclosure notice served on us the 21st. of December. We called to correct the situation and was advised to Western Union $2740.90, and did so.

I called to verify the money was received and it was but was advised that $1700.00, was going for Fairbanks Lawyers and I still owed another payment so I wired another $460.00, and called to verify it had been received and it had been but was advised I owed another payment.

I have never got the same story when I call and never get to speak to the same person. A lady by the name of Angelia wanted me to give her a check by phone and she would hold it, a post dated check and I advised I didn't do business that way. I have no idea if im behind or ahead on my payments.

We have paid several late charges through the year and there always seems to be a problem. The people are just plain rip off artist and taking advantage of people. I have hired a attorney and will meet with hime January 6th. and will follow his advise.
