Fairbanks Capital, Equicredit, Loan Servicing Center rip-off Jacksonville Florida

These people are the most deceitful business I have ever dealt with. I never had a problem until I tried to pay-off my loan.

It all started when my bank sent a payoff before we had the payoff statement. When I received the payoff statement, noticing right away the shortage of the payoff check. I tried calling Fairbanks to have them hold the check while my bank overnighted the rest of the funds.

My payoff was good thru 1/7/03, and after alot of 'run around' bull$#@!, I finally talked to someone. I actually have a direct phone number to a real person who answers. So this person tells me ok. So I called her on the 7th to make sure they had the check, (my wife also called), She told me yes.

Now I 'a*s'ume the loan is done. Nope. The same person calls me a week later to tell me I still owe. After talking to her, I realized they still havent applied the 2nd check, A WEEK LATER!!! I tried explaining this to her but she couldnt understand. I then asked her to fax me the figures showing how I still owe them money.

The next day, after not receiving a fax, I call her to see if it was sent. She said I probably wouldn't get that until Fri.

This was on a tuesday. 4 days to send a fax explaining how I owe them money? After not receiving the fax again, I called her.

Now suddenly she has no idea what I'm talking about.

After reexplaining the whole thing to her, she told me I would have to talk to customer service. I told her customer service would send me back to her. Sure enough they did. I then asked her how we were going to resolve this. She then told me that she would have her mgr. call me the next day, since she was suppossedly off for the day. I said fine.

The next day I receive no phone call from anyone. I waited and called her back near the end of the next day. Again she said she woul have her mgr call me. I asked her for her mgr's phone number and she said there isnt one. Something about a different department or something.

These people have the worst customer service ever. Not one person that I have talked to can help me. Not one person that I have talked to knows anything about what is going on. And everyone who might know what is going on, is off for the day.

After my banker showed me this website, it scares me to think that they are going to try and take my house. If anyone has a loan by these people, I suggest getting out as soon as you possibly can. Before they find a way to screw you for everything you have.
