This is breeder has a site on the internet which tells you how many years they have been breeding and a long list of champions. She seems to be honest on the internet, been in business a long time WRONG!! until you have to call her after the sale.
Yes she makes it easy for you to obtain her dogs since she knows that she is going to get that money and head for the hills. She sells show and pet puppies but her show puppys are quite often her show puppys are also pet puppies with higher prices. When they develop health,size and other problems she doesn't want the dog back. And don't even think about her honoring any contract.
Her bottom line is co ownerships on bitchs bred to keep her business going and not have to provide for the care of the bitchs. She does what she please when she pleases and will take you on a roller coaster ride for sure. She doesn't have a great repretation here in Canada. But continues to operate because most breeders and buyers in Canada are scared to step up and let others know what they have experienced with this breeder.
If you live outside of Canada this breeder will make you sorry that you brought from her. Ask any Canadian who is willing to be honest about Debbie Moore VanDyk of Fairfax Shelties. Before you buy go to shows and meet other breeders who aren't tied to this breeder by co ownerships or friendships based on them also being dishonest sheltie breeders.
In Canada she knows that it can cost you a lot of money to hire an attorney and get any justice. FAIRFAX SHELTIES/DEBBIE MOORE VANDYK SURVIVE BECAUSE OF HER PAST REPUTATON WHICH NO LONGER EXISTS. SHE FEELS SHE IS UNTOUCHABLE!
I hope that others who had dealing with Fairfax Shelties will let others know as well what they experienced on this site

I have never sold a dog to anyone named Disappointed, from Somewhere, Florida.
And unfortunately, the authors of this website will allow anyone, from anywhere to anonymously post slanderous allegations against individuals without any sort of proof that a valid complaint even exists, nor do they ask for "the other person's side of the story" before allowing a venomous post like this to appear on the site.
"Disappointed" goes on a lengthy rant here, about what a horrid person I am to deal with, but does not once refer to a specific problem or issue that they had with me! I have no idea of just what it is I stand accused of. Or what exactly it is that I stand accused of!
I have been breeding Shelties for the last 27 years, and in fact, have had many repeat customers. We have helped to establish several prominent kennels in the U.S., Canada and in China and Korea. We have sold many puppies to happy family homes over the years, and continue to enjoy a happy relationship with our puppy buyers.
Anyone having any doubts as to my credibility, or reputation should feel free to contact me directly, and I will be only too happy to supply references.
And to "Disappointed" in "Somewhere, Florida", if you have the balls to properly, publicly identify yourself, instead of hiding behind a pseudonym, I will be happy to address whatever issue (if any) is behind this post.
