Fairfield Resorts, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Fairfield Blatant liars! Sold me an upgrade for promise of BuyBack Program that does not exist! Charged me $17,000, not $10,000 and snuck in a credit card with $7000 charged to it! Nashville, Tennessee

I was told by Wyndham representative, Shelia Laquire of Nashville, that Wyndham would buy my property back after a year if I upgraded to Club Wyndham. She called it the new "Wyndham Buyback Program" that enables customers who no longer want their timeshare an opportunity to sell it back, thus saving Wyndham money by not having to build more resorts. She said she was there to help me and stressed how Wyndham is now so much more customer friendly! (THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BUY-BACK PROGRAM)!

I told her that I had no intention of upgrading or buying more points. I can't use the ones I have. When Ms. Laquire said I would be eligible for the Buyback Program I would have paid anything to rid myself of the timeshares! She said the upgrade would involve merging the 2 timeshares that I had already and spending $10,000 for more points equalling 413,000.

After signing my life away, she also didn't explain that I was going to have two bills...one to Bank of America for a $7000 down payment for the Club Wyndham upgrade and $10,000 more to Wyndham. She said the price of the upgrade was $10,000, not $17,000, but she opened up a new credit card for me and put a $7,000 down payment on it! I was really confused when I got 2 bills. I thought the $7,000 was the interest on the loan, but when I paid off the bills with my equity, I didn't get the "interest" back because it wasn't interest at all, but part of the $17,000 cost of the entire upgrade price! IT WAS $7,000 NOT $10,000!!!

She asked me to help her with names and addresses for advertising purposes (which would help offset maintenance fees) so I sent her a list of all the employees where I worked. I didn't see any maintenance fees deducted from my checking account for a couple of months so I thought the list had done its job. I found out later that whatever she did, wiped out my automatic debit from my checking account for my maintenance fees (which went up to $180 from $116 after she said they would NOT GO UP) and that I was behind in my maintenace fee payments! I specifically gave her my bank card number to continue the deduction of the monthly fees. Then I had to double up for months to get it straightened out (and didn't have a job during that time) thanks to whatever she did.

She even hugged me, gave me her cell phone number, email address, and even invited me to be friends with her on Facebook! These salespeople must have to pass a personality test requiring that they are SOCIOPATHS before Wyndham will hire them!
