I received a phone call stating that I had won a diamond ladies watch, and all I have to do to receive it is to subscribe to some magazines at a low cost. I had to give credit card information in order to do this.

They told me it would take about 7-10 business days for the watch to come in the mail. It never did. They took off $43.40 to pay for my first month's subscription, when they told me it would only be $14.95 per month.

I was trying to cancel my subscription within the cancellation period of 2-3 weeks, but I could never get a hold of anyone to do so. Therefore, they charged my debit card $43.40.

After that I was able to cancel my subscription, but they told me I still had to pay the full amount of $868 because I didn't cancel within the trial period. I told them that I tried to, but no one would take my calls. It didn't seem to matter to them.
