Misdirection to reservation rewards ripoff. To purchase tickets for a movie at the AMC website, you have to use Fandango which even tho you click NO for offers passes off your credit card information to reservation rewards. the actual ticket purchase carries a surcharge, which is reduced if you are a member of reservation rewards. you cannot complete the ticket purchase without providing (it is a secure web page) your name, phone number, email address to which the printable ticket to be turned in at the boxoffice is sent.
the real rip off is that there are 3 different names and phone numbers for reservations rewards. secondly, fandango DID NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO PASS MY financial nor identity information. making Fandango as much of a culprit as reservation rewards. The credit company is trying to help me recover these bogus charges and make sure they stop. Beware.
