Fanfare Media Works And Movie News They only want the money! Valencia California

This company sends reps out to sell a flier that is distributed at a local grocery store and on the internet (I have not seen it). I agreed to advertise with them, but after I signed and they got my check, I never heard from them again until I got a bill for the balance due with my ad on the flier that was completely wrong! Even the phone number!

I did receive a call from a nice lady prior to the supposed printing deadline in Sept. or October (she said) that they had one more space available and would I like it? I respectfully declined and asked when I was going to see the ad I did want? She said "soon" and would contact me. I never heard from her again.

They heard from me as I told them to cease and desist from advertising for me any longer and that I wanted a refund. I was told that the contract was not cancellable! Isn't a contract binding on both sides? Aren't they supposed to do what they are paid to do? I have been offered to have the ad corrected and a credit for the wrong ads that were run prior. I declined and stated that I did not want to do business with a company that did such shoddy work and never sent me a proof to approve as was promised by the rep.

I have read some of the complaints on this site with regard to this company and its tactics. Is there anyone out there that has been sued as they are threatening to do to me?

The deal is that all they care about is the money for the gimmick that they created that does not work. Getting out of this is the headache for the one ripped off, not them. They have some nasty collection (pre-litigation) people whose job it is to threaten, and threaten some more. They have a huge turnover of people there as well. My next letter is to the Attorney General, as I have already written to the BBB!
