I recieved a letter informing me that I had been awared prizes that included free airfair and the only requirement was that I come to Atlantic City and listen to a presentation about the time share at flagship fanta Sea resorts. I was told the presentation was only 1/2 hr to 45 minutes. My husband and me were at this presentation together and we both felt traped by them.  I told them I was not in the position to do this and that I was trying to restore my credit.  This did not seem to matterto them.  My husband who is disabled would not able to pay for this either so the payments would be on me but before I knew what happened they had run aline of credit with my husbands name and I know it sounds nieve but after being in the sales persons clutches for over 3 hrs we ended up with a time share. The paper work was a hurry up and sign type experience and durring this time I was told not to contact them for at least 60 days because they would not know who I was. Only after looking into it did I find out that my look at the product and change my mind period was for 1 week so this  made sure i would not call and cancel. As I said it was in May of 2014.

the billing trail went like this. first they opened the line of credit in my husbands name with bank of america for the deposit. $2,500.00, them there was a morgage that was being taken from my bank account monthly for $263.00. the first maintenance of $568.00, then within 6 months another bill arrived for another maintenance fee $674.48.  I also had to pay two different times to the intervals international ( there affiliate) because if you want to go anyplace besides the flagship in atlantic city you must pay them. I have stoped paying them and am prepared to go to court if needed. the end of this story is that neither myself or my husband have utilized 1 minute of the timeshare and all the money they have taken from us when the year is not even up is a same. shame on The fantaSea flagship resorts and shame on the State of New Jersey for turning a blind eye to this activity.
