I paid $749.00 to Fast and Affordable Divorce to send me documents to file for divorce and to help me fill the paperwork out. After completing the paperwork I went to my county court to file my documents only to find the court had never seen paperwork in the format that I was presenting and that it was not accectable for filing in my county. I was sent by the court to the legal aid office where I received the correct paperwork and obtained assistance in filing for free. I then contacted the company back and told them I received the wrong documents and that I no longer needed their service. I asked for a refund and was told to email copies of what they sent to me as well as the documents I received from Legal aid and that a manager would review my claim and issue my refund. I have been dealing with this for the last six weeks and so far have gotten nothing but the runaround. They refused to even give me their business address so that I could file a BBB complaint and a small claims lawsuit. This is a predatory company preying on low income individuals who are seeking legal help.
