Fat Cow policies are dishonest, and they actually tried to accuse me of lying! That did it for me, I am dedicated to exposing them, as I have had MANY problems like this over the last two years. They lure you in with cheap prices, then after you pay, you find out that not much works unless you pay WAY more.
For instance we had an audioplayer on our website last month (Aug. 2012), but now in September FAT COW suddenly won't allow it to be published. Then, their representative, Marc Newman, accused us of trying to scam them by upgrading to premium and then cancelling! We did not do any such thing! So, it turns out they were just mistaken, but they did not apologize for the accusation. Instead, they just keep suggesting we should pay way more!
I may end up paying more, but it won't be to Fat Cow!

A company should never accuse a customer of something unless they have hard proof. Since you didn't give much detail on the conversation I will just leave that part as that.
But as for what you mention about your audio player you very well could have been racking up bandwidth usage because of that. Streaming audio eats up a lot of bandwidth and bandwidth is not free or cheap. If you started exceeding some limit on your plan they have the right to tell you that you can't have that on your site anymore.
Remember it is their servers and they can determine what they will allow hosted on them. Again you didn't go into much detail about what was said but based on my experience and the bit of information you mentioned I think that is the likely reason they told you that you can't have the audio anymore.
