Father & Son Moving & Storage Denver, CO Traumatic Move, Liars, Cheats, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Denver Colorado

STOP!  DO NOT USE Father & Son Moving & Storage in Denver, CO or King Moving.  (contracted by Father & Son?) I am so traumatized by the outrageous, more than terrible move I had with them.  I wish I had read these reviews, but I thought a company with this name recognition and who had been in business so long would be fine.  They are anything but.

I booked my move with Frank the saleman who is slick by the way.  He would not stand behind what he had sold me or even return my email when I contacted him. I was promised breakdown and set up of  1 bed and 3 free wardrobe boxes if I booked the job.  I did and was contacted by their office who said they would be there between 8-9 am.  The day before the move, I was told it was moved to between 11-1.  Not happy, but accepted it.  To make a long story short, they arrived at 4:45pm after I had contacted the company 3 times and they told me three times that the drivers were in route and would be there within the hour.  They were 9 hours late. When the movers arrived, I was leary but had to move.  The paperwork was done on speaker phone with Chuck who is a demeaning crook and told me I was crazy.  Very unprofessional. They were willing to give me a $8.00, yes, an eight dollar discount for being so late. It was either I take his deal or the movers drive away.  I had to move so I paid them PRIOR to the move.  I was also asked to sign several CYA waivers without any carbon copies.

The 2 movers gave a great effort and loaded by belongings efficiently, but did not come with any wardrobe boxes I was promised. (another rip-off)  Several of the items I wanted moved they wanted to charge extra for so I moved them myself.  After my items were loaded, we drove less than 3 min. to my new place.  At this time, they asked that I get some of my helpers to help them unload. (Duh, what was I paying them for?) These 2 guys could not get the loading ramp up on the truck to unload and took 1.5 hrs trying to get this in place. They also broke several big branches off a tree Throughout this time, they are LOUDLY cursing at each other, arguing, belching and making such a ruckuss at 8:30 at night that I was so embarrassed. I had to ask them to just stop their arguing. Great impression made for my new neighbors!  I kept looking to the end goal of just getting my things unloaded and at 9:45 they were finished.  I will say that these 2 guys worked very hard, but were so unprofessional.  As they were leaving, they told me they had been hired by King Moving,on the spot, the day before and no one had even looked at their application.  Seriously it just went from bad to worse.  I have used 2 other moving companies in the last 3 years and have never had this type of experience.  STAY AWAY!  I will be reporting them to all governing agencies I can find.
