Father's Choice/Premier Legal Services This is a scam-- Beware!!!!! Goleta California

In June of 2008 my grandaughter and I contacted this organization desperate for some legal advice we could afford to help with some custody issues over my 2 1/2 yr. old great-grandaughter. They listened very compassionately as no one else would and promised legal help that we could afford. We were assigned a case manager, Beau Hobbs, after allowing a debit of $98.00 for the initial consultation.

We were promised legal documents for the price of
$ 845.00 that would present to the presiding judge an argument that would plead and win our case. After not being able to get anyone to even talk to us for under $ 2,000.00, this seemed an answered prayer.

We were contacted by a legal assistant and answered questions over the phone for almost an hour.

Weeks went by and no phone calls were returned to us. On the eve of our court date, we were contacted by a "lawyer" with father's choice and he had nothing of what had previously been done. More questions were answered and documents were faxed to us at 10:30 in the evening the night before court which was in another city.

This documents were horrendous and would have been an embarrassment to present to the judge. Missplellings were rampant and the county and state were reversed. Nothing of the important issues to present were even present. We got a continuance from the judge, thank goodness so the judge never saw these slapped together documents. We could have done better on our own and we paid $ 845.00 plus $ 98.00 for this. We contacted our case manager by phone immediately after court and several times that afternoon and followed up with numerous phone calls and e mails with absolutely no response. Then a month later my charge card was debited again for $ 48.00 dollars.

We are going to take this scam as far as our legal system in Texas will let us go. These con artists have taken a very emotional situation of a custody issue and ripped us off.
