I was on the internet and saw an advertisement that said, "Get this Cute Baby Elephant Pillow For Your Loved Baby with 70% off, medium/grey.  The picture that accompanied the pillow shows it to be an elephant and a baby snuggled in it, similar to a boppy.  I ordered this and did show my co-workers to make sure I was ordering the corrected item which turned out to be a disaster.  The confirming picture with my order number was the elephant with the baby snuggled in it.  What I received was not this, it was a basic stuffed animal.  Favworld's advertisement and confirmation picture was what I believed I ordered.  No where on the initial advertisement did it state you needed to purchase the large elephant that shows the baby snuggled in it.  I certainly would not have purchased a stuffed elephant for $24.99 that I could purchase in a store.

I believe that Favworld advertised this incorrectly, confirmed the item I believed I ordered in my confirmation e-mail that I printed and is unwilling to make good on a mistake.  I have had numerous e-mails back and forth, but to no avail.

I feel that something needs to be done as I feel they falsely advertised and like most companies would do, they were completely unwilling to correct a mistake, possibly at both our ends.  They offered me a 20% discount if I ordered the large elephant which is what I believed I ordered and what they confirmed in the picture to me.  Their advertisement was vague to say the least.

Favworld website reviews

AUTHOR: Elvira - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, February 22, 2018

Hi, this isn't exactly a complaint or anything like that. It's more of a personal experience with the site. I had read elsewhere about favworld both good and bad things.

The truth was that I felt very insecure about making my purchase. But I just need to get in touch by phone and chat to clarify my doubts.

The customer service staff was very kind, both in chat and on the phone. I expressed my doubts and fears and they explained everything to me in detail. I even got myself a juicy 40% coupon on my first purchase.

Too bad you had such a bad experience, my friend, the truth is that I've had a wonderful experience. Let's hope they give you a quick solution!

And basically that's it, I wanted to express my experience and encourage others to clarify their doubts before buying anywhere, since not everything we see negative on the internet is true.

My response to favworld's response

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, August 28, 2017

I see that Favworld responded.  No where in the picture of the elephant that I believed I ordered, the one showing the baby laying inside of it, did it show a measurement.  Most reputable companies would have offered to make good on this error, or come up with a solution.  You advertised the elephant for $24.95.  The advertisement shows the baby laying in the elephant which is what I believed I ordered.  What you sent was not the picture confirmation of what I ordered and no where did the initial advertisement state you need to purchase the large.  I was under the impression the one shown in the picture was what I ordered.  I will never order from Favworld again as you do not seem to understand this issue.  I am completely dissatisifed and I am going to contact the credit card company and dispute the purchase as well.
