fax.com Billed extra charges for junk faxes. San Diego California

After 10 years as a fax.com customer, I was hung out to dry.  My usual service was $2.95/month and allowed for 20 pages send/ receive each moth.  Then all of the sudden I was hit with a massive "junk" fax of 328 pages, where they charged me overage at .25 per page, for a total of $77.00 for that month in December of 2014.

The customer service requests made online (5) were NEVER answered.  After calling, I was told to call back. Once I called againand waited for an excessive amount of time I was told that I never reported the junk faxes.  First, I never received them, and second the reason I was calling was so that I COULD report them.

They basically said that they have no refund policy and it was too bad.  I'm almost guessing that they made this up or sent the junk themselves.  Normally, after receiving a fax, I would get an email.  I received nothing, no notice of these  so called "Junk" faxes.

So, I feel ripped off and immediately closed my account on 2/4/15. 

Fax.com is a terrible company, with terrible customer service and a not so great service anyway.  DO NOT use them whatsoever!!
