FEDERAL ALARMS INC.COM INSTALLED A BURGLAR SYSTEM THAT DOESN'T WORK BRIGHAM CITY, Utah

I signed an agreement for a alarm monitoring unit in 2007. They came right away within hours and installed it. They showed me how to use it and was very nice with their presentation. They said they were some Mormon students working across the states for college.
It wasn't but a month went by that I was at my husbands gravesite and received a call from the monitoring company saying the unit went off, which at the time had a motion sensor on it. So I come home and call Federal Alarm. They tell me that I can't have my ceiling fans going, so I didn't use them while I was gone.

So it is like two weeks later, I am visiting my daughter about 25 miles from home, and I get a call from my neighbor saying the police are at my house and the alarm is going off. So I come home and call them again. Now they are telling me my cats are setting off the alarm, when at first they said the activation would be cause by at least a 100 lb person and so tall.

So I have them change the sensor to the only thing I was allowed.....to shatter glass sensor. I haven't been satisfied with it and don't even use it cause it is faulty and do realize it is a rip off. I notified them but they told me I would have to pay the full amount if I wanted to cancel.

I am 66 years old and thought that would be great for me being my husband passed in 2006 but I guess I just wasn't too smart at their charm and deceitfulness. I know that what goes around comes around and I guess I will let the Lord take care of them, but I want to warn others to be very careful when you sign something or have someone come to your door and try to sell you something.
