I feel really stupid I fell for this scam!
I bought a small toy drone for my son this Christmas from best buy.
Inside the packaging, it said that I must register the Drone with the FAA before flying it.
My son bugged me every day that he wanted to fly it so I finally googled FAA Drone Registration and Federaldroneregistration.com popped up. I just figured it was the FAA so I paid the $24.99.
After I did this my son told me that it only costs $5 to register with the FAA and I still needed to buy a Label to put on his drone before I could fly it.
It was after their "24 hour refund policy" so they wouldn't give me a refund so I filled a complaint with my Visa card. They said they couldn't refund me either because it was outside of their refund policy.
Again, I feel really stupid for making this mistake but I just wanted to make sure other law-abiding mothers trying to comply with the FAA laws on drone toys don't fall for this scam like I did.

"We apologize you did not receive the compliance labels that were sent to you. We will have the fulfillment team prepare and send you one more set. They will be sent to the following address and will arrive via USPS:"
I recieved this a month ago after complaining I never recieved anything and still have not recieved the labels or an email with my registration number. My original purchase was for $49 in July. I underdstand you are a go between but where is my number ? Now I dont know if this is a total scam or I need to register with the gov site or have you already done that ?
