hi my name is anthony **** and a company called federal recovery group has been calling me harrassing me for the past 3-4 weeks about a payday loan from back in 2006... they are talking about my driver's license can be suspended and that i can go to jail... i live in jax, fl and according to them, these are the rules of the state of florida...

at first i thought the company was legit, until i started to do some investigating on the company in question and they dont seem like a legit company at all... i evengave them my credit card information like a dummy... then this morning i called them to push back my "payment" and the agent named agent coy didnt want to hear any of that so she transfered me to her manager, and he informed me i could only have a day or two extra to have the funds on my credit card or they would proceed with their process..

what options do i have???

Well, let's see.    You gave your credit card info to scammers and you're wondering what your next step should be?   How about :

CLOSE THAT CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT BEFORE THEY RIP YOU OFF!!

They are obviously scammers because they told you that you could go to jail over a debt.   Debtors prisons were abolished almost 200 years ago.    The only debt you can go to prison for is tax debt.

Do not talk to them anymore.
