We contacted loan modification law center about getting a loan modification. We started the process in Jan of 2009. We gave them all our information and they in return told us oh you have Countrywide. They told me that was great news that they had a good rep with them and guaranteed to get us a loan modification complete within 30-90 days with lower interest rate and mortgage payment. All we had to do was pay $2995. They worked out payments for the amount over 2 montsh. We received alot of calls during that time. After the last payment they said the mortgage company had all our information and they just checked things were looking good. They were just waiting on the mortgage compnay to give final answer. Now it is 8 months later and the mortgage company did receive some of our paperwork but not the bank and financial documents from FLM. We then got a letter from our mortgage company of denial due to them not being able to get in contact with flm. we have left aolt of mess with them and sent letters. nothing has been returned. We were scammed out of 2995.00 and are still facing forclosure on our home. This company needs to stop scamming innocent people. the world is bad enough and times are hard enough we don't need help from companys promising to help financially scamming us!
