I had gone online and put in a application for bad credit loan, they called me and i was approved for 5000. I had sent over the requested info, drivers lisence, utility bill, ss card, and a paycheck stub. Like all loan places do. It took them 2 days to get my fax to me for the loan papers, I read them, sounded good, I did what they said to do to secure my loan I wouldnt have to make a payment on the loan for 90 days if I sent 685 by western union. The western union cost me altogether 744.

I was promised a direct deposit into my account the next day by 6pm central time. The day after when I didn't get my money into my account. I called and I wanted to speak to a manager and when I spoke to Paul I told him that I was going to get an attorney, he told me that I would get a 2500 grant on top of the 5000 loan. I promised this that day. That afternoon I called and talked to him he told me that the lender found something wrong with my credit report and wanted another 685 from me and wouldn't have to make a payment for 6 motnhs on this loan. I told them I would send the money but first needed a letter stating that I would be promised this loan and the grant money gaurenteed. I did some searching on the internet couldn't find nothing in Conneticut with this business name, or in Canada. I looked on the better business bureau site and found that they had been open a year and had 3 unanswered complaints but also said that they are reportedly based out of canada and using a conneticut add. So I did more searching found the address in stamford got a hold of one the business at this add and found the property manager name talked to her, and she said that there is no business at that add with the name fenix financial.

So I called Fenix Financial back told them that I don't want the fax and that I wanted my money back, Janet one of the managers told me that it would take up to 14 days to get my money back. I had called all 3 of my credit agencies and put fraud alerts on my credit reports, filed a report with the Iowa attorney general, western union, better business bureau, and the internet fraud site. I also put a hold on my bank account cause they had gotten a hold of my bank account #s. I talked to them and they were just waiting for the tracking # for my refund check, but now I cant get them on the phone at all. WILL I GET MY MONEY!!!
