We have checked and rechecked the e-mail. We have not had any difficulties in receiving e-mail sent to the address listed on our site. Thank you for reporting the problem however we do feel that it has been addressed.

I am not sure who you are. You stated that you called and received no response. Should you wish to call back and leave a message feel free to do so. We cannot return a call to a number which shows as Restricted on caller ID if no message is left. Restricted means that there is no number TO call back. Also, as stated on the voicemail you will need to leave your name so that we know who we are to call.

Another item which was not previously addressed is that we are not listed on any accredited business search sites. We have filed an application with the Better Business Bureau and the Corporate Advocacy Program through this site. This does take time. Since we only officially started our business last week, it will take some time for this information to be updated.

We have also contacted a few attorney's and government agencies to verify the legalities of our business. It is stated on our website and our paperwork that we are not a law firm. It is also stated that no advice that we give should be considered legal advice. Every client who chooses to retain our services also receives a form to sign which acknowledges that this has been explained to them.

We are simply an option that consumers may choose. No one is given any false information in an attempt to have them retain our services. The only thing that may be questionable is the length of time we have been in business. All business have to start from the ground and work their way up. If no one chooses to take a risk with them, then they do not continue. Anyone that reads through our website at www.fergusonandsnyder.com will see that we will not even accept money from a client if we do not feel we can help them.

I am glad that Rip-Off Report has given me the opportunity to post a response. This will allow any prospective client's to know who we are and what we are about based on what they can read here and on our website.

I would like to address the "Anonymous" report posted on this site.

1. I, Larissa MacDonald, am the owner of Ferguson & Snyder. The name Ferguson & Snyder is the last name of my grandmothers who were very hard-working women. Both made their living along with my grandfathers as farmers in Western PA.

2. The business was incorporated because I was employed for another company through a temp agency doing what this business currently does. I received several complaints from clients that they were told untrue things when they had signed up. A few advised me that they were going to the Attorney General. I enjoy helping people. I used to work as a collector so I do understand the process of debt. Though I have no intention of making this business my full time job at this time, I am here to help anyone that needs it. Any clients which have contacted me have been explained to that I cannot do anything that they cannot do on their own. This is even on our website. I am simply able to assist anyone which does not wish to contact the creditor or attorney on their own.

3. It is noted on our website that the phone number is a cell phone. This allows is to text customers if they choose to be contacted in that way. It also allows me to answer calls regardless of where I am at that time.

4. The company Ferguson & Snyder would not be listed in any accredited business site as we are a new company. We just began our business last week. We have not yet had our first client.

5. Several calls were received on 9/15 from a restricted number. Since I am aware that one of the employees that works for my former employer knows that if you dial *67 that it will show as a restricted number, I did not answer these calls. Any person whom is a valid client should be able to leave a message. This will allow me enough time to search for their information to return the call.

6. If there is any question as to my integrity, you can feel free to contact the attorney that sued you. If you would like their number, I will be able to give that to you. I have worked with all of them for 6 months while I was at my previous employer. We are not a fly by night company but simply a new company with verifyable references.

I feel sure that this Rip Off Report was posted by my former employer. The fact that he or she prefers to stay anonymous does not give enough information as to rather or not this person ever received a letter from me. It is my assumption that this is an attempt to hurt me since that employer is under investigation by several government agencies.

I will not comment as to who that former employer was, but it is best to research who you are dealing with. Again that is addressed on our website. It does not only pertain to that business, but many businesses of that type. For this we charge a very minimal fee because we really CANNOT do anything that you cannot do on your own. We are simply here for those clients which may choose not to handle this on their own.
