I took my dog to Fido's because I wanted her groomed and smelling good to take her home on leave with us for the Christmas Holiday's. First of all I should have walked out when I saw how unprofessional they are by having a baby in a play pen and being unprofessional and how bad the place smells. However I went against my better judgment. No one ever once called me to tell me anything was wrong with my dog, I went to pick up my dog and she was moving slow, having a hard time breathing and foaming at the mouth. We immediately rushed her to our vet and come to find out my dog was suffering from heat exhausten. They tried denying they did anything wrong and when I said she was obviously exposed to heat to get heat exhausten, they had the audacity to say, " they had her in a kennel contraption that is a heater that dries dogs and they have supposedly never had this problem before. They obviously had forgotten or not cared that my dog was left in there having heat exhausten. I told them they owe me for the vet bill and they were lucky I wasn't suing them. They straight out refused to pay me for the vet bill. I told them I will be writing reviews and passing the word and they said they will deny that me or my dog were ever there. They said they can write enough good reviews and if not them, friends that will write such great reviews that people will think they are great and not take my word for it. There are many great groomers around and ones that truly care about dogs and won't mistreat them. Just be warned.
