I am very upset with this company right now. I ordered at xmas and my order was messed up, but I gave them another chance and ordered again for Mother's day.
I ordered in time and paid extra for shipping to insure prompt shipping. I received a bill in the mail for the items, then I found out the items were not delivered. When I called, (5-10-04) I was told that at the time I ordered my items were in stock but when they shipped they went out of stock. Nobody notified me that my mother and mother in law did not get anything for mothers day.
They could have at least called or e-mailed and gave me a warning that they screwed up. Now I look bad to my family members because they think I forgot.

I once would have defended Figi's too.....

but they have lost my business. We had a good business relationship for 10+ years, until this year.
I owed $38, and was to make my usual 3 payments in Feb, Mar and Apr, but ran in to financial trouble. They refused my payments in April, and sent me to Pinnacle Financial (do a search here, you'll see what they're all about) who has never sent me a letter, but loves to call me a lot, and hang up when I answer. When I threatened harassment, they said that it's not their fault, but the fault of the auto-dialer, yet it still continues. I worked on an auto-dialer - it only hangs up if there's not enough people to answer, so they need to make some adjustments on their end.
Figi's reported the $38 to my credit report, after I attempted payments which were promptly refused, and, surprise, there's no record of this phone exchange.
I have expended money in long distance phone calls to Wisconsin because they provide no 1-800 number. I did once get a nice lady who tried to help me, but her supervisor would not allow her to help. I've sent several faxes asking them to call me - no response.
They have gone downhill. Their customer service is non-existant. I offered to give them the $38 as I have been all along, but I want it off my credit report. They still refuse. They tell me to pay the collection agency. I don't even have their address. I've yet to get a letter! Just hang-up phone calls (and yes, they're all from the same 866 phone number - the name shows "Minnesota" on my caller ID). When I call that number back, I hear "please enter your phone code". I simply hang up. I don't know what that means.
If I ever order from them again, and that's a BIG IF, I'll make sure that I pre-pay, as their payment services are a joke.

Did you know that Figi's has been in business since 1944? They have a 100% Guarantee of their products and services. WWW.Figis.com I do not believe they did not get your order to your realitives. Maybe late, but I am sure they have resolved the problem by now, and given you your money back or sent another item for your order, AM I RIGHT? Yet you felt the need to dicredit a Company online that has been in business for 60 years! WWW.Figis.com Did they refund your money or send the items, plus free gifts to your realitives? When ordering online, or over the phone, you need to order at least two to three months in advance. Especially for a holiday. Did you pay for the items upfront or are you paying month by month? Did you meet their credit approval? Maybe that was the problem? Oh, she didn't mention that you pay nothing upfront and they give you up to a year to pay for their gifts, jewelry, cheese, sausages and meats. You can even check your order online! You can check your order over the phone at 715-341-1363. They have several different shipping methods and will even ship overseas to U.S. Possessions. Figi's will tell everyone that orders anything from them that if they are not 100% satisified, to contact them and they will refund or send another item. This company has the BEST Cheeses, meats and gifts in the U.S.A.. I have ordered from them for over 20 years, and have never had a proble.
