Figo Pet Insurance My Pet will die thanks to FIGO Pet Insurance! Chicago Illinois

I bought top of the line Figo pet insurance that bragged about covering, illness, injury, including congenital defects. Lowest deductable. No body is better. Claimed coverage in 2 days for claims. Claimed perscriptions would be paid including special dog food prescription foods. $107.00 a month. I have a brand new puppy five months old today. Three weeks after I got Figo pet insurance my dog started vomiting, looking emaciated even though she was well fed and taken care of. She started acting viscious out of the blue. We could tell something was not right. We thought maybe she swallowed something?? She seemed to like eating strange things.

We take her to vet, she gave us no answers or conclusions, she said we would have to take our dog to a specialist because they have the equipment to do scans. After waiting two weeks for her to get her act together and send the information to the specialist. In the mean time the problem is getting worse. Looks like she is dying. 

We then took our dog to them. After numerous blood tests. Still no idea! Then we did MRI's and a Brain Scans. Then more tests the next day. No conclusion. Wait another week because they never bothered calling back with results. We call them again and they still do not know. So another day and yet another test for supposedly the final conclusion. A week later no results yet again. NO DIAGNOSIS. And still the condition gets worse. They tell us to try this special liver diet. It helps some what but it is not a cure.  

They also told us if it is one of these four diffrent diseases it can be fatal or cause conditions that require euthanasia because of the behavior.They tell us give her antibiotic, and stool softner. No better....

All 7 claims for prescriptions, test, scans and dog food submitted. All medical information sent in the required time limit. Way after thier required waiting periods were up. Total crap about thier system not running, so they cannot process claims for 2 weeks. Three weeks later not one word or check from them. What the hell is going on?? They finally reply to my my E-mail after two days, they will not honor any of the claims. Never even bothered to notify us.  Now they are claiming pre-exsisting condition and diagnosing my dog before I even have a diagnoses myself. Really a five month old puppy, pre exsisting? What the hell gives FIGO pet insurance the right to diagnose my dog anyway??!!

All of this crap cost over $1,800. not to mentions 3 - two hour trips to the specialist and Figo's exorbitant insurance premiums. Not to mention the fact that we had to pay for a whole month premium when we purchased it on the 19th of the month.

Now we have not one penny left, what so ever, to pay for surgery or treatment of any kind, for whatever this horrible condition is! What ever the case it will be one of four deadly conditions requiring possibly $6,000.00 worth of surgery, or continuous medical treatment. We haven't even been able to have her spayed yet, if she lives long enough.

Figo pet insurance company is one of the most unorginized, lowest of the low slime ball companies yet to darken the planet. 

Run far and fast from this one! And beware new pet owners this will destroy the joy of puppy hood and the trust of good business in America.
