We purchased what was advertised as a "genuine" branded air filter for our Air Purifier from Filters America.com. When we received the product it was a cheap and flimsy fake. i understand from others that this is a common bait and switch tactic used by this company. i called and wrote with no response from the company.
i was also infomred by the air purifier manufacturer that fake filters , also known as "aftermarket" , damage the actual unit by making the motor work harder and run much hotter, not to mention they dont clean the air as well.
very shady company and one i would avoid at all costs. They are just trying to make a quick buck.

Because we at FiltersAmerica pride ourself on delivering the top quality filter at the most affordable price, we address every complaint levied against us. We take all consumer complaints seriously. In an effort to find more information regarding this particular order, we were unable to find an order in our system for Mr. James. Perhaps the order was placed under a different family member's name.
All that being said, as displayed prominently on the bottom of our website home page, filtersamerica.com/ReturnForm.aspx 100% customer satisfaction is our goal. If any consumer is not completely satisfied with the filter they purchased, they can return it for a refund.
